COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – After a grand slam opening night to mark the 60th race season on April 9, Cottage Grove Speedway looks forward to its next event this Saturday, April 16. The historical ¼-mile clay oval will offer a special $10 grandstand admission for fans ages 13 and up.
Classes in action include the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, Clark Printing Extreme Sprints and Quality RV Repair Hornets.
The event will be the first time to see the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints and IMCA SportMods in action as the other two divisions participated in last week’s action. Collen Winebarger opened up his winning account in the IMCA Modifieds while K.C. Scott got the job done in Quality RV Repair Hornet competition.
Pit gates open at 1 p.m., the front gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
