$3,000 is top prize for IMCA Modifieds at 85 Speedway opener 

ENNIS, Texas (March 17) – Winning the opening night Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature at 85 Speedway will pay a hefty $3,000.

The Saturday, March 19 show is the first under the direction of new promoter Scotty Brown and all applicable points, including local track points, will be awarded.

The Modified main event is a 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. The runner-up earns $1,500 with $750 paid for third. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start the feature.

Also on the card at Ennis are Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods, plus factory stocks, cruisers and lady cruisers.

There is no entry fee but registration fee is $30. Pit passes are also $30. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $7 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 6-11 and free for five and under.

Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing is at 8 p.m.
