BMS Mods by Xtreme begins fifth season as IMCA Modified North Central Region sponsor

GREAT BEND, Kan. – BMS Mods by Xtreme Motor Sports is back for a fifth consecutive season as title sponsor of the North Central Region for Modifieds, and for the 15th season as an IMCA marketing partner.

Xtreme Motor Sports purchased the Belleville, Kan., chassis builder earlier this year. BMS by Xtreme will furnish a portion of a $6,000 point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in the region comprised by tracks in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The champion earns $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th. Different drivers have now won the North Central Region crown in each of the last 14 years.

Drivers must display two BMS brand by Xtreme Motor Sports decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares. Those checks will be presented during the national awards banquet in November, or mailed beginning the next week from the IMCA home office.

BMS has won the IMCA Manufacturers’ Cup in six of the seven years the award has been given. Information about BMS-manufactured chassis is available by calling 620 796-2290, on Facebook and at the www.1stclasschassis.com website.

“The BMS name is very recognizable in IMCA racing circles and that will continue in 2016 under the direction of new ownership,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Defending their Manufacturers’ Cup title will be challenging as it is every season but I believe they are poised to maintain the tradition of great race cars and winning drivers.”
