Dirt track racers from far and wide visit the Duel in the Desert held at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway every November. The feature lineups boast an expansive representation of different states to certify this event as one of the IMCA “Crown Jewel” events of the year. For the 2015 edition each driver is welcomed to showcase their stomping grounds with the IMCA.TV Best Appearing Car Contest.
The graphics theme for 2015 is to represent your state.
The IMCA.TV Best Appearing Contest will boast a “winner-take-all” $1000 Prize for the winning IMCA Modified and for the first time ever, a $500 Prize for the winning IMCA SportMod. The winning graphics company (for each class) will get a free social media advertising package on all IMCA.TV major events for 2016, a whooping $5000 value per class!
Voting will be conducted on the IMCA Racing Facebook page (www.facebook.com/raceimca). Drivers will have the ability to declare Best Appearing entry at the pit gate of The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway or online at IMCA.TV. IMCA.TV Staff will verify the entry and film a video interview detailing the wrap and take a photo. The video and photo will be posted to Facebook by 11:00 PM Pacific on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Fans will have the ability to LIKE and SHARE the Video and Photo. The combined LIKE and SHARE totals, aka the “Double Down”, will declare a winner in each class by the deadline at High Noon (Pacific) on Saturday, November 14, 2015.
IMCA.TV, the title sponsor of the contest, is the Official Network of IMCA and will broadcast every lap of the Duel in the Desert on www.racefeedx.com.

Modifieds race for $7,777 to win and a minimum of $777 to start while Northern SportMods vie for $1,777 to win at the 18th annual Duel Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 11-14.
Twenty-eight Modifieds start the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier on Saturday night. Thursday and Friday qualifying features both pay $777 to win.
Northern SportMod qualifying features on Thursday and Friday pay $500 to win.
