$1,500 is top prize in IMCA features at KSP Showdown 

KENNEDALE, Texas – All four IMCA main events pay $1,500 to win at Kennedale Speedway Park’s Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2-3 Showdown special.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods all chase $1,500 checks at the ninth annual event. The Modified winner will be added to the ballot for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.

Minimum start money is $250 for the Modifieds and Sprints, $200 for the Stock Cars and SportMods. Both Modifieds and SportMods will run topless.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and registration and practice run from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1. Pit passes are $15.

On Friday, gates open at 3 p.m. the draw closes at 6 p.m. and qualifying starts at 7 p.m. Grand­stand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 6-11 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $25.

Gates also open at 3 p.m. Saturday, the draw closes at 5 p.m. and racing is at 6 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $5 for kids 6-11 and free for five and un­der. Pit passes are $30.
