Record 64 Sport Compacts contend on day two of Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 8) – The first car count record of the 33rd annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s comes courtesy of the Sport Compact division.

Sixty-four Sport Compacts see action Tuesday at Boone Speedway. That’s one more than the previous record set two years ago.

 

Sport Compact entries come from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas and Wisconsin.

Also on the schedule for day two of Super Nationals is race of champions qualifying for Northern SportMods and Hobby Stocks, two SportMod qualifying features and a single Hobby Stock qualifier.

 

With the addition of a late SportMod entry on Monday, the overall car count for the first two days of Super Nationals is at 372.
