NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. (Aug. 1) – Jerald Harris cruised to his third Virginia Sprint Series feature win of the season Saturday at Natural Bridge Speedway.
Chris Ware and Anthony Linkenhoker were on the front for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main event with Linkenhoker out first and looking strong.
By lap five, however, Harris was close behind and contending for the lead. On lap seven, Harris went to the front and left Anthony to fight with Tom Humphries. Glenn Worrell got to fourth and joined the battle for second.
Harris was not challenged up front. Linkenhoker worked through traffic better, got away from Humphries and took second.
