ALTA, Iowa – Winning the Wednesday, Aug. 5 Marv Rueter Memorial for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds at Buena Vista Raceway will be good for $1,300 and a spot on the ballot for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.
The Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod winner earns $500 and the Mach-1 Sport Compact winner earns $300. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and BVR Bombers complete the weekly race program.
All applicable IMCA points will be awarded. Modified, Northern SportMod and Sport Compact portions of the show will be draw/redraw.
Entry fees are $50 for the Modifieds, $35 for the Northern SportMods and $25 for the Sport Compacts.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow.
Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and veterans with ID, and free for kids 12 and under. Pit passes are $25.
