AFTON, N.Y. (July 29) – I-88 Speedway is next on the IMCA Empire State Series schedule this Friday, July 31.
Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds chase a $500 top check in the fifth of eight tour installments this season.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:15 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 9-15, and free for eight and under. Pit passes are $30.
Point leader Eddie Sites is the only repeat series winner thus far; Michigan visitor A.J. Ward and Brad Sites have each won once.
Four previous Empire State Series events have been held at Afton. The tour date there in June was rained out.
