Thomas County Fair Races feature five IMCA divisions 

COLBY, Kan. – A check for $1,000 and a spot on the ballot for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational go to the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature winner at the Friday, July 31 Thomas County Free Fair Races.

A minimum of $125 will be paid to start the Modified main event.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $750 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks both for $500 to win.

All applicable points, including local track points, will be awarded in all four divisions. There is no entry fee.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. at Colby. The grandstand opens at 6:30 p.m., hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $30.
