SCHOOLCRAFT, Mich. – A company already familiar to many IMCA drivers shares the wealth with Modified special events competitors.
New sponsor Outerwears Performance Products gives $25 gift certificates good toward the purchase of a radiator screen to a top five finisher at 25 Modified specials this season.
“A lot of racers are very familiar with our pre-filters as a large number of Modified teams are already running them,” explained Nick Schero with Outerwears. “It is our new goal to help all teams protect their radiators with the Outerwears radiator screens.”
“I’ve been to Super Nationals each of the last five years and attended a lot of IMCA events,” he continued. “We realized this partnership would be a good fit and asked ourselves why we weren’t already working with IMCA.”
Product awards will be given at both the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and Sprint Car Super Nationals. Outerwears gift certificates are mailed from the IMCA home office within a week after official race results are received.
“We have been around a lot of dirt and asphalt teams and we simply have a passion for racing,” Schero said. “I believe this new partnership with IMCA is a perfect fit.”
