IMCA’s Centennial Season is theme for Super Nationals Best Looking Car contest 

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA is celebrating its centennial in 2015 and the 100th anniversary season will be the theme for the best looking car contest at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

All drivers in the six divisions competing with centennial themed cars at Boone Speedway over the course of the Sept. 7-12 Super Nationals receive $100 gift cards from title sponsor Speedway Motors.

Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod themed cars will be judged on the front stretch during the Tuesday, Sept. 8 program. Modified and Stock themed cars will be judged during pre-race ceremonies on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Best Looking Car winners in those four divisions each receive $100 in cash and NitroBee listening devices. Sybesma Graphics gives mini doors to the Modified and Northern SportMod winners and mini hoods to the Stock Car and Hobby Stock winners.

The driver of the Best Looking Modified also receives a Sweet steering box.

“As we continue our year-long celebration of IMCA’s 100th anniversary, we decided it was a fitting theme for our Best Looking Car contest at Super Nationals,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “We have so many outstanding graphic designers across the nation that I am really excited to see what they come up with to commemorate a century of IMCA racing. It is never too early to start making plans for a new design to run in Boone in September.”
