BSB adds more special events awards for IMCA drivers in 2015

WELLINGTON, Kan. – A new race season brings with it more new awards for IMCA drivers from BSB Manufacturing.

The latest addition in the mix are $50 product certificates, to be given to designated place finishers at 15 IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, 15 IMCA SportMod and a dozen IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock specials.

Product certificates of the same value will again be given for 30 IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified specials and at all Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models events.

“The support of BSB Manufacturing is very widespread and does involve a great many things, but we’ve again managed to expand their involvement for 2015,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder observed. “Adding gift certificates at SportMod and Hobby Stock special events enhances our ability to support those tracks, events and racers and clearly displays BSB’s commitment to IMCA racing.”

Located in Wellington, Kan., the high performance parts manufacturer and retailer returns as title sponsor for the Northern SportMod Race of Champions during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

BSB will furnish a portion of the $1,500 purse to be paid out at the race of champions, to be held Saturday, Sept. 12 at Boone Speedway.

Now its seventh season as an IMCA sponsor, BSB has also renewed the rest of an awards program benefitting Deery Series competitors as well as drivers in five divisions.

The champion of the 29th annual Late Model tour receives a $250 product certificate and a 30 percent discount on all purchases for the 2016 race season. The runner-up gets a $200 product certificate and 20 percent discount, and the third place driver receives a $150 certificate.

Product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100 go to top three eligible drivers in each IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock region, and in national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.

In addition to competing with four BSB-manufactured shocks, drivers must display two BSB decals on their race car and return a completed signup form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
