Mitchell Machine doubles IMCA program with new awards for SportMod divisions

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Mitchell Machine doubles the size of its IMCA contingency program this season, with new awards for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod drivers.

Top eligible finishers in national standings for both divisions receive $250 product certificates from the Webster City, Iowa, transmission manufacturer and machine shop.

Second- and third-place eligible drivers in each division receive $100 product certificates.

Product certificates in the same increments go to top three eligible drivers in both EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Southern Regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.

In addition to competing with a Mitchell-manufactured transmission, drivers in all three divisions must return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1, display two Mitchell Machine decals on their race car and provide proof of purchase made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 1, 2015.

“The Bullet transmission is a great piece for SportMod drivers and this year we are building on the success of it in the Stock Car ranks,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I think drivers will be very pleased with the durability of the product and should give Ted Mitchell a call for more information.”

All awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

This season is Mitchell’s ninth as an IMCA sponsor. Information about Mitchell Machine products and services is available by calling 515 297-3333 and at the www.mitchell-machine.com website.
