Special events drivers in five IMCA divisions earn Schoenfeld certificates

VAN BUREN, Ark. – Schoenfeld Headers awards special events contingencies to drivers in five IMCA divisions again this season.

Product certificates valued at $50 go to designated place finishers at specials for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.

That list of specials includes all events in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models. Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office within a week after official race results are received.

Located in Van Buren, Ark., Schoenfeld manufactures IMCA’s official 609, 903 and 935 mufflers. When required to run a noise reduction system of 98 decibels or more, drivers in all five divisions that are part of the Schoenfeld program must compete with one of those three mufflers to be eligible.

Schoenfeld also manufactures headers and related exhaust components. Information about those products is available by calling 479 474-7529 and at the www.schoenfeldheaders.com website.

The 2015 season is Schoenfeld’s 17th as an IMCA marketing partner.

“The input from Schoenfeld Headers has been instrumental over the years in helping address and guide IMCA rules regarding noise reduction at the track,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for the sanctioning body. “As the emphasis on mufflers increases, I am sure their insight will remain valuable for years to come.”
