MEMPHIS, Tenn. – More IMCA drivers will earn product awards in 2015 courtesy of Performance Distributors.
State champions in the Mach-1 Sport Compact division receive Screamin’ Demon ignition coils from the Memphis, Tenn., high performance parts manufacturer.
“It is always great to add contingency awards for our Sport Compact members, and this is something that could be a nice benefit to their racing program,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “The decals will be included in drivers’ packets and car photos can be emailed as soon as you receive them.”
In its ninth season as an IMCA marketing partner, Performance Distributors has renewed other awards for eligible IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod and Sport Compact competitors.
Top eligible drivers in each Stock Car and Hobby Stock region, and in national standings for the Northern and Southern SportMods all receive DUI distributors.
Second-place drivers each get $100 product certificates, with $75 for third, $50 for fourth and $25 for fifth.
Both the Sport Compact national champion and national rookie of the year receive Dyna-Batt batteries. Second through fifth place finishers in national standings for the 4-cylinder class all get $50 product certificates.
In addition to required distributor usage, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod drivers must also fill out and return a sign-up sheet to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1. Sport Compact drivers are required to display Dyna-Batt and Screamin’ Demon decals to be eligible.
All awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.
