HAYS, Kan. – RPM Speedway at Hays, Kan., will host the Xtreme Motorsports Fall Nationals VIII fueled by Casey’s General Stores this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9-11.
Thursday night’s program will feature a complete program for the IMCA Mach-1 Sport Compacts and the Crazy Cruisers starting at 7 p.m. There will also be a test and tune session for IMCA-sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods and Hobby Stocks. There will be free grandstand admission Thursday with the gates opening at 6 p.m.
Friday night will feature heat races and qualifying races for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern Sport Mods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks starting at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under, with gates opening at 5 p.m.
Saturday’s program will consist of last-chance races and features for the Modifieds, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods and Hobby Stocks with the green flag flying at 6 p.m. Grandstand admission will be $15 for adults and $5 for children, and the gates open at 4 p.m.
Pit passes will be $25 per day with kids 12 and under $10. Pits will open at noon on Thursday and at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Pit concessions open at 4 p.m. Thursday, at noon on Friday and at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Camping and shower facilities are available at the track.
The Modified main event is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and will pay $400 to start and $5,000 to win. Stock Cars compete for a $3,000 winner’s check with $250 to start. The Northern SportMod main event will pay $2,000 to the winner and $1,500 to the Hobby Stock winner.
More than 200 race teams, including local, state, regional and national champions, from eight states are expected to compete.
