Grand Nationals special is Oct. 11 at Boyd Raceway

BOYD, Texas – Top prize for the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds is $2,000 when Boyd Raceway hosts its annual Grand Nationals special on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The feature is a qualifier for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star ballot.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $1,000 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $250.

Entry fees are $50 for the Modifieds, $40 for Stock Cars and Southern SportMods, and $30 for Hobby Stocks.

Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 4 p.m.. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for kids ages 6-11 and free for military personnel with ID and youngsters ages five and under. Pit passes are $30.

There is no charge for grandstand admittance and pit passes are $15 for the Friday, Oct. 10 open practice.
