IMCA Modifieds headline Sept. 27 Fall Challenge at Hamilton County

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Hamilton County Speedway’s Saturday, Sept. 27 Fall Chal­lenge will pay $1,000 to the winner of the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified main event.

That feature is a qualifier for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pays a minimum of $125 to start.

Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $750 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $250 to win.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points are at stake for the Modifieds and Hobby Stocks. Northern SportMods and Sport Compacts vie for na­tional and state points.

Entry fees of $60 for the Modifieds, $40 for Northern SportMods and $30 for Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts include the driver’s pit pass.

Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $7 for kids and students ages 6-15, and free for five and under. Pit passes are $30.

Gates at Webster City open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. The drivers’ meet­ing is at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing to follow.

IMCA Late Models also run at the Fall Challenge, with a $1,000 top prize and $60 entry fee.

A test and tune session runs from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26. Pit passes are $15.
