IMCA Modifieds join Sept. 19, 20 Stock Car Stampede at Jamestown Speedway

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds join the Stock Car Stampede special at Jamestown Speedway, racing for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start this Saturday, Sept. 20.

Heat races begin on Friday, Sept. 19 with “B” features preceding Saturday’s main event, a quali­fier for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.

Pit gates open at 10 a.m. Friday for the 43rd annual event and the draw ends at 6 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m. that evening and at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets on Friday are $15 for adults and $8 for kids ages 6-14; a family pass is $40.

Saturday spectator admission is $20 for adults and $10 for kids. Family passes are $50.

Advance tickets are available at both local Casey’s General Store locations, the Neighborhood Grocery and the Cenex Convenience Store

Haulers and trailers will be allowed on the fairgrounds beginning Thursday morning; drivers will receive pit entry numbers based on their arrival time.

There is a $10 security fee for any race car parked on the grounds Thursday night.

Camping will be available on a first come, first served basis on the fairgrounds. Some electrical and water hookups are available but there is no RV sewer dump on the grounds.
