LEXINGTON, Neb. (Aug. 10) – Leading the final five laps was enough for Colton Osborn to claim the checkered flag in the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified feature Sunday night at Dawson County Speedway.
Osborn started in the fourth row and was able to work his way into contention just past the halfway point of the race on his way to the victory.
Chad Dolan darted to the lead on the opening lap from his fourth row starting position and never looked back en route to the win in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature.
Wasting no time to get to the front, Mike Nichols earned the victory in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature. Nichols drove his way to the lead on the third lap and was able to remain in front throughout the remainder of the event.
Earning the big payday in the Jeremy Trompke Memorial event was Dillon Thompson as he won the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock division. Thompson was able to drive his way to the lead on the fifth lap to earn the victory.
