Gandrud Chevrolet Red, White & Blue Series finale August 9 at 141 Speedway

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (Aug. 4) – Saturday, August 9 marks the final race in the Gandrud Chevrolet Red, White & Blue Series at 141 Speedway.

The series will award over $10,000 in contingencies to the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, along with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Regional, Allstar Performance State and track points.

In addition to contingencies from Arneson Shock Service, BSB Manufacturing, Fast Shafts and Manitowoc Motor and Machine, the series champion will receive a GM 604 Crate Engine courtesy of Gandrud Chevrolet.

All three of the $1,000-to-win Gandrud Chevrolet Red, White & Blue Series races are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifiers.

Urbana, Iowa hotshoe Darin Duffy is the current series point leader with New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore trailing by just two points going into the final event. Sean Jerovetz of Suamico is seven points back in third and Denmark’s Tim Czarneski is tied with Brad Lautenbach of New Franken nine points back to round out the top five.

As part of the regular weekly racing action at 141 Speedway, the Modifieds will be joined on track by IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, Street Stocks, Grand Nationals and Sport-4s. Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6.
