Redline Racing Parts North Star Series is at Fairmont on the Fourth

FAIRMONT, Minn. – A holiday show is next for the Redline Racing Parts North Star Series this Friday, July 4 at Fairmont Raceway.

IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are on the track for the fifth of 10 tour dates this season.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. on Independence Day at Fairmont. Racing follows 7 p.m. hot laps.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults and free for students 18 and under. Pit passes are $25.

Jay Noteboom won the most recent Modified series feature and leads the point standings in that division.

Two-time North Star winners include point leaders Jim Larson in the Stocks and Justin Luinenburg in the Hobbies. Nick Johansen was won the last two Northern SportMod features and is now second in the standings to Matthew Looft.
Nate Coopman has won all four Sport Compact tour outings this season.
