Weather cancels opening night of Cottage Grove Modified Nationals

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (June 27) – Unfortunately weather prevented the first night of the an­nual Modified Nationals from getting under way at the Cottage Grove Speedway on Friday June 27th.

Saturday, June 28 is still on and will feature the Race Of Champions in the program. Also on the card will be the Northwest Extreme Sprints and Hornets.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, military and juniors ages 13-17, $5 for youths ages 6-12 and free for five and under. A family pass good for two adults and up to four youths sells for $35.

Two dollar coupons are still available at Boyce & Sons Landscaping and Building Materials, Jim’s Tire Factory, the Cottage Grove Community Center, Welt & Welt Inc., Bonanza Drive Up and the Pink House Restaurant in Cottage Grove, Aesthetic Surgical Arts in Eugene and Jazzie’s Deli or Giant Burger in Springfield.
