Special events drivers in five IMCA divisions receive Schoenfeld Headers certificate awards

VAN BUREN, Ark. – Special events competitors in five IMCA divisions earn contingency awards again this season from Schoenfeld Headers.

Designated place finishers at specials for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods all receive $50 product certificates.

Those recipients include drivers at all Deery Brothers Summer Series events. All certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office the week after official race results are received.

In its 16th season as a marketing partner, Schoenfeld is located in Van Buren, Ark., and manufactures IMCA’s official 609, 903 and 935 mufflers.

When required to run a noise reduction system of 98 decibels or more, drivers in all five divisions that are part of the Schoenfeld program must compete with one of those three mufflers to be eligible.

Schoenfeld also manufactures headers and related exhaust components. Information about those products is available by calling 479 474-7529 and at the www.schoenfeldheaders.com website.

“Schoenfeld has been making headers and mufflers for a long time and is really the authority on noise reduction systems for IMCA competition,” emphasized IMCA Markeing Director Kevin Yoder. “As this topic becomes increasingly important for IMCA race tracks we’ll rely on their input to help guide the direction of this type of equipment.”
