IMCA Modifieds chase $1,000 prize at Rock Island County Fair

EAST MOLINE, Ill. – The top prize for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds at Quad City Speedway’s Wednesday, June 18 Open Wheel Onslaught is $1,000.

The Rock Island County Fair special pays a minimum of $150 to start and is a qualifying event for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State, but no local track points will be awarded for the draw/redraw show.

Pit gates at East Moline open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. The drivers’ meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow.

Entry fee is $40 and pit passes are $30. Reserved grandstand seating is $12; adults are $10, seniors are $8, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and five and under get in free.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under.

Also on the program are mod lites and midget lites.
