Drivers in Deery Series, four IMCA divisions earn R2C Performance Products awards

FOREST PARK, Ill. – A popular awards program benefitting drivers in the Deery Brothers Summer Series and four IMCA divisions has been renewed for 2014 by R2C Performance Products.

The Forest Park, Ill., manufacturer and sixth-year IMCA sponsor will give R10522 air filters to both the IMCA Late Model tour champion and rookie of the year and a 4-barrel air filter base to second through fifth place finishers in final Deery standings.
Champions in each of the five regions for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds and the national Modified rookie of the year also receive 4-barrel air filter bases.

The highest finishing driver in IMCA Sunoco Stock Car national point standings who competes with a limited cubic engine and top finishing Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod drivers competing with claim engines all receive 4412 air filter bases.
And designated place finishers at 30 Modified specials and at all Deery events receive $50 product certificates, which will be mailed after official race results are received at the IMCA home office.

All other R2C awards will be presented during the national IMCA banquet or mailed beginning the following week.

“The R2C air filter is an outstanding piece and I know it is one that really works,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I’ve talked to our tech officials on numerous occasions and they consistently see a significant decrease in dirt and dust when inspecting carburetors on cars running an R2C air filter compared to those that aren’t.”
