EAGLE, Neb. (May 17) – Larry Cronin overcame engine problems endured earlier in the season to win the Sam’s Club IMCA Sport Compact main on Armed Forces Night at Eagle Raceway.

“The engine finally held together. This is my third engine this year after I blew up the first two,” he said. “Hopefully, we can get a couple more wins this year.”

Benji Legg’s third NAPA IMCA Northern SportMod victory of the season might have been the most thrilling as he grabbed the lead on a green, white, checkered finish.

Dylan Smith’s Kaplan University IMCA Modified feature victory was his third in as many weeks. Jason Martin became a third-time winner in the Mud In America IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars.

Mike Hansen repeated his winning ways from a week ago in the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stocks.
