Arnold Motor Supply continues as title sponsor for IMCA Northern, Southern Stock Car regions

SPENCER, Iowa – Both Northern and Southern Regions for IMCA Stock Cars benefit from title sponsorship of Arnold Motor Supply again in 2014.

The Spencer, Iowa-headquartered auto parts retailer, a division of the Arnold Group of Companies, furnishes portions of $3,750 point funds to be paid to top 10 drivers in both regional point standings for a second consecutive season.

Each regional championship will be worth $1,500. Point fund shares will be distributed during the national awards banquet in November or mailed from the IMCA home office beginning the following week.

Drivers are required display two Arnold Motor Supply decals in designated locations on their race car to be eligible for regional point fund monies.

Arnold Motor Supply has more than 50 stores, and 20 full-service machine shops, in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska.

Nine of those shops have been designated as official repair facilities for the 602 and 604 crate engines that can be used by Hobby Stock, SportMod and Modified drivers, respectively, and are located in Algona, Boone, Carroll, LeMars, Mason City, Oelwein, Storm Lake and Marshall, Minn. The ninth is Midwest Cylinder Head and Machine in Nevada.

Northern Region Stock Car tracks are in eastern Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Southern Region tracks are in California, western Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

Information about Arnold Motor Supply products and services is available by calling 712 262-1141 and at the website.

The 2014 season is Arnold Motor Supply’s fifth as a marketing partner with IMCA.

“Arnold Motor Supply has a great network of machine shops that specialize in racing engines, specifically the two combinations available to our IMCA Stock Car drivers,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “In addition, the nine facilities referenced in the story also represent a great place we recommend taking a crate engine for any repair needs.”

“Combine that with their large inventory of over-the-counter and special order parts and Arnold Motor Supply should be your first choice for any automotive needs,” he concluded.
