Xtreme Motor Sports returns as divisional title sponsor for IMCA Modifieds

Xtreme Motorsports 2013GREAT BEND, Kan. (Feb. 24) – Building on a successful first season in the coveted role, Xtreme Motor Sports returns in 2014 as title sponsor of the IMCA Modified division.

Manufacturer of the 1st Class Chassis, the Great Bend, Kan., builder again provides a portion of the $25,500 point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in final national standings for the division.

Xtreme is owned by Brenden Damon, managed by veteran Modified driver Mike Petersilie and has been in business since 2011.

“2013 was an excellent year for us. We probably doubled our sales,” said Petersilie. “We had a lot of repeat buyers and sold quite a few cars to new customers, too. The emphasis on tech support really works for us.”

Xtreme house cars will run at Salina Speedway and at RPM Speedway. Xtreme will also be represented on track at area specials, the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and the Duel In The Desert at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“The Xtreme team has combined a quality built race car with excellent customer service to develop a successful business in a short amount of time,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder emphasized. “We appreciate all they do for IMCA racing and couldn’t be prouder of the relationship we’ve established with our Modified division.”

The title sponsorship pact with Xtreme runs through the 2016 race season.

Completing the Xtreme awards program are $100 product certificates for each of the top 10 finishers in national Modified point standings and $50 prod­uct certificates for each qualifier in the Modified main event at Super Nationals.
