LUBBOCK, Texas (Feb. 9) – The inaugural Winter Classic special gets the new race season started next Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16 at Lubbock Speedway.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds run for $1,000 to win in Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events both nights.
Top prizes for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods are $500 while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase $200 to-win checks.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional, Allstar Performance state and local track points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 9 a.m. and racing starts at 1 p.m. both days. Grandstand admission is $7 for adults and free for fans ages 17 and under. Pit passes and a one-time track registration are each $25.
There is no entry fee.
Test and tune begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. Pit passes are $25 while grandstand admission for the practices is free.
