CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (Oct. 29) – IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds will run for a top prize of $5,000 at Central Arizona Raceway’s inaugural Cactus Classic special Friday-Sunday, Nov. 22-24.
The top five cars from Friday and Saturday qualifying features advance to Sunday’s main event. Last-chance qualifying on Sunday fills out the grid for the 24-car headliner.
Sunday’s show is a 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and pays a minimum of $400 to start.
There is no entry fee. Tow money for non-qualifiers who race all three days is $100.
Pit passes are $25 and grandstand admission is free for the 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 open practice.
Gates and the grandstand open at 3 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Friday. The pit area and the grandstand open at 10 a.m. and racing begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Pit passes are $35 each day or $90 for a three-day pass. Spectator admission each day is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military with ID and free for kids 11 and under.
