Beatrice Speedway hosts September Fest special for five IMCA divisions

BEATRICE, Neb. – The traditional season-ending special at Beatrice Speedway moves to this Fri­day and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28, meaning IMCA points will be awarded in five divisions at September Fest.

IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified features are on the card both nights, pay $1,500 to win and a minimum of $125 to start. Both are qualifying events for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet North­ern SportMods race for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win each night. Saturday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $200 to win.

Tow money is $75 for Modifieds and $50 for Stocks, SportMods and Hobbies.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m. on Satur­day, with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.

An open practice runs from 6-9 p.m. pm Thursday, Sept. 26.

Pit passes are $25 each day. Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under.
