2013 IMCA point season ends Sunday, Sept. 29

VINTON, Iowa (Sept. 25) – The 2013 IMCA weekly point season ends this Sunday, Sept. 29.

Final races are scheduled for the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified, IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Car, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod and Mach-1 Sport Compact classes, as well as West Coast Super Stocks.

No events, weekly or special, rained out this weekend will be allowed to be rescheduled and run for points. Information released Wednesday stating that regular season championship programs would be made up for points in the first week of October was incorrect.

Final weekend schedules include the Flatlander at Sherman County Speedway, September Fest at Beatrice Speedway and the Blake Raulston Memorial at Cardinal Speedway Sept. 27-28; and the Dave Hubbard Memorial Fall Challenge at Hamilton County Speedway, the Fall Classic at Mid-Nebraska Speedway and the Jackson Nationals at Jackson Speedway on Sept. 28.

Bonus points for track champi­onships will be figured and national champions and rook­ies of the year announced as soon as possible. Regional champions and rookies of the year will also be named for the Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.
State champions will be crowned in all divisions.
