JACKSON, Minn. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $1,500 to win at the 35th annual Jackson Nationals on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The Stock Car feature doubles as Jackson Speedway’s seventh annual Doug Cellan Memorial and pays a minimum of $100 to start.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods all chase $1,000 top checks and $100 minimum to start money.
Mach-1 Sport Compacts vie for $500 to win and a minimum of $50 to start.
The Modified main is a qualifying event for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and all applicable points, including track, will be awarded.
Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Northern SportMods and Sport Compacts earn IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points. Stocks and Hobbies also get regional points.
Gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m.
A split format will be utilized, with the program for Sport Compacts, micro sprints and 305 sprints held first. Their draw closes and hot laps start at 3:30 p.m.
The draw closes and hot laps start at 5 p.m. for the four other IMCA divisions and 360 sprints.
Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $15 for students ages 13-17 and free for kids 12 and under when accompanying a paying adult.
Pit passes are $30 and entry fee is $20.
