MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Features for three IMCA sanctioned divisions are on the program for both nights of the Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21 World Nationals at Marshalltown Speedway.
Both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod features pay $1,000 to win while both IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock features pay $500 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in all three divisions. Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks also vie for regional points.
Pit passes are $15 for the 7-9 p.m. open practice on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Cookies BBQ Sauce Kickoff party will feature free food and a band.
Gates open at 2 p.m., hot laps are at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Pit passes are $25 on Friday and $30 on Saturday.
Adult admission to the grandstand is $12 on Friday and $15 on Saturday. Kids get in for $2 each night.
Camping, with showers and limited electrical hookups, is available for $15 a night.
