Chateau’s Border War special pays $1,000 to IMCA Stock Car winner

LANSING, Minn. (Sept. 9) – The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner at Chateau Raceway’s Border War spe­cial earns $1,000 for their Friday, Sept. 13 efforts.

A minimum of $75 will be paid to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Arnold Motor Supply Northern Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.

Entry fee for the draw/redraw show is $25 and pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.

Originally called the Spring Challenge, the event was postponed multiple times because of inclem­ent weather and ultimately rescheduled on the September date.
