LUXEMBURG, Wis. – Championship night is upon us for the 2013 season at Luxemburg Speedway.
Tonight (Friday, Aug. 30) champions will be crowned in all five divisions. Tri-County Heating will sponsor the final point night with racing starting at 7 p.m. There will be kids’ bikes to be given away courtesy of Tri- County Heating. There is also Big Wheel’s courtesy of Cory Cochart racing.

The IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks provide the closest battle and either way it shakes down there will be a first time champ. Derek Moede is considered the veteran in the class and holds a two point edge over rookie Dan VanPay. Sawyer Haese needs a little help as he sits five points behind Moede.

Shawn Kilgore and Todd Dart have won many championships in their respective careers but a Luxemburg IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified crown has eluded both. This Friday night, one of their journeys will come to an end. Kilgore leads Dart by 19 points heading into the finale.

Brandon Czarapata has already been crowned the 2013 Luxemburg IMCA Sunoco Stock Car track champion. He also won the title in 2012.
Josh Long has won Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod crowns at every track he has competed at weekly but he has never won the Luxemburg track title. Long only has to start the feature event and he will be crowned the 2013 champ.

Keith Kickbusch is another driver with multiple titles. He possesses many IMCA Hobby Stock championships and will be adding a Street Stock title to the resume. Kickbusch has to take the green flag to win the title.
