(2023) – One of the first shock specialists in the industry returns to the IMCA sponsorship ranks this season, with a new program of awards for Modified, Late Model and Stock Car drivers.

Penske Racing Shocks gives certificates redeemable for a set of shocks to national champions in each of those divisions, as well as $100 gift cards to a top five finishing driver at 10 select Late Model events throughout the 2023 campaign.

“Our reach in the IMCA market is growing. We have a lot of customers in IMCA and want to return their support,” said Penske General Manager Aaron Lambert. “We really like this program. You want to acknowledge drivers who win championships and it’s always good to spread the wealth across the divisions and finishes.”

“Hopefully that makes it easier on everyone’s budgets and helps them keep racing.”

Special event gift cards will be mailed after results are received at the IMCA home office; Friesen Performance IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Late Model and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car national champions receive Penske certificates during the IMCA banquet in November.

Penske certificates good for one shock also go to top non-qualifiers for Modified, Late Model and Stock Car main events at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

The Reading, Pa., manufacturer opened its doors for business in 1988 and now custom builds shocks for race teams competing on everything from the super speedways to local dirt tracks.

“The great thing we do is that from concept to engineering to manufacturing to servicing, everything is done here in Reading, Pa.,” said Lambert, a life-long race fan who grew up in the area and spectated at the likes of Grandview Speedway, Nazareth Speedway and Pocono Raceway. “Every shock is custom-built and dynoed before it goes out the door.”

“Penske Racing Shocks is a great addition to the contingency program across multiple IMCA divisions,” said Carson Becker-Gramm, marketing integration and sponsorship director for IMCA. “It is amazing to have Penske jump on board for the 2023 season and we are excited for many more seasons with Aaron and his team.”
