Saxon Charges Late for Hobby Stock Tougher Than Dirt Tour Opener Win

(June 3, 2025) — Cash Saxon brought the crowd to their feet at McLean County Speedway, pulling off a thrilling late-race pass in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature during the opening leg of the 2025 Tougher Than Dirt Tour. The 20-lap feature opened with Kaiden Tuchscherer getting the early advantage. Despite a handful of cautions in the first half, Tuchscherer — the 2022 Estevan Motor Speedway champion — controlled the pace. Suddenly, Diezel Raynard found speed on the bottom line and made a run at the lead. Raynard took over on lap 11, but Tuchscherer fought back and regained the top spot just two laps later. Raynard wasn’t done, though, and wrestled the lead away again on lap 15. Tougher Than Dirt Tour Returns for 10th Annual Run Through North Dakota and Saskatchewan

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (May 27, 2025) — The 2025 edition of the Tougher Than Dirt Tour is set to launch into its 10th season with six straight nights of high-powered IMCA racing, spotlighting the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods and the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks. The tour kicks off Monday, June 3 and runs through Sunday, June 8, offering some of the most competitive racing for these divisions in the Northern Plains. The action begins at McLean County Speedway in Underwood, North Dakota on June 3, followed by a stop at Southwest Speedway in Dickinson on June 4. Williston Basin Speedway hosts round three on June 5, with the lone Canadian date coming at Estevan Motor Speedway in Saskatchewan on June 6. DeCarlo Charges from Eighth for First Watsonville Win of 2026

(June 12, 2026) — The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified main event at Watsonville Speedway saw multiple different leaders while putting on a solid show in its shortened 20-lap feature. Jonathan Hagio took the early command, but it was short-lived as Robert Marsh blasted to the point on lap four. A lengthy red flag period to clean up a crash in turn two forced officials to trim the race from 25 laps to 20 with curfew looming. Jim Pettit II looked extremely fast and took over the lead on lap nine. Starting eighth, however, “Quick Nick” DeCarlo methodically worked his way forward before assuming command with 14 laps complete. Once out front, DeCarlo was never seriously challenged and raced away to score his first DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region victory of the season and first Watsonville Speedway triumph of 2026. Jake Dimond Memorial Pays $5,000 to Win June 19 at Black Hills Speedway

(June 11, 2026) — One of the richest Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified events in the region comes to Black Hills Speedway on Friday, June 19, as the inaugural Jake Dimond Memorial takes center stage with a $5,000 winner’s share awaiting the victor. The special event will feature a 30-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified main event paying $5,000 to win and $2,250 for second. Third place pays $1,500, fourth receives $1,000, and fifth earns $750. The feature purse pays throughout the 24-car starting field, with all starters guaranteed at least $150. Modified competitors will race with a $100 car-and-driver entry fee.
