IMCA Modifieds chase $3,700 top check at Silver Bullet’s Sam O’Connor Memorial
OWENDALE, Mich.– IMCA Modifieds chase a top check of $3,700 plus lap money at Silver Bullet Speedway’s inaugural Sam O’Connor Memorial on Saturday, June 1. O’Connor was a long-time competitor at Silver Bullet. His car number was 37 and that’s the number of laps that will be run in the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. The runner-up earns $1,037, with $937 paid for third, $837 for fourth, $737 for fifth, $637 for sixth, $537 for seventh, $437 for eighth, $337 for ninth, $237 for 10th and $137 for 11th through 20th. Ten dollars will be paid to the leader of each lap and the winner of a seven-car dash pockets $370. Top three finishers receive trophies and numerous contingency awards will be given. There is no entry fee and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, E3 Spark Plugs State and track points will be awarded.
