Inaugural Red River Sprint Speedweek Set to Rumble Through The Upper Midwest

(Jul. 6, 2025) — The Superior Customs IMCA Red River Sprint Series is set to embark on the biggest week of RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car racing since the class was introduced to the area in 2021. The Red River Sprint Speedweek will be a four-night swing through eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota, boasting a nightly purse north of $6,600. Each night will pay $1,250 to the winner and $200 to start, with a $200 hard charger, presented by Donnohue Designs Racing and GRP Motorsports. Five $50 Gunderson Racing Inc. gift cards will go to the drivers that finish 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th all four nights. Superior Customs IMCA Red River Sprint Series set to launch in 2023

(March 31, 2023) – In 2021, Nick Skalicky and Jake and Sharnel Bitker, promoters of Red River Valley Speedway and Norman County Raceway, took the leap to start a brand new division in the area, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars. After having a handful of cars for the first season, the class more than doubled in its second season in 2022, often having two heat races and up to 12 cars. As the class continues to grow, more opportunities will be available for its drivers in 2023 with a brand new traveling series, which already has a title sponsor. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Three IMCA divisions join the season championship night show Friday at River Cities Speedway. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are on the Sept. 17 card on the high-banked clay oval at Grand Forks. Stocks race for $325 to win, SportMods for $300 to win and Hobbies for $150 to win. Also at stake are IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance State points. Gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Pit passes are $30. Adult grandstand admission is $20 or $17 when purchased in advance through MyRacePass or any ticket outlet. Spectator admission for active or retired military with ID, college students with ID and students ages 16-18 is $10; kids 15 and under get into the grandstand for free.

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (July 25, 2025) — All 46 vendor spots for the 2025 Speedway Motors Manufacturer’s Row have officially been sold out, solidifying the full return of one of the most interactive and influential features of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, scheduled for September 1–6 at Boone Speedway. Manufacturer’s Row opens Saturday, August 30, during the first night of Super Nationals competition and provides a unique opportunity for race teams, fans, and industry leaders to engage in person. $150,000-Plus Purse, $13,000 To Win RaceSaver Nationals Roars Into Eagle Raceway

With a total purse exceeding $150,000, the weekend culminates in Sunday’s RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event, paying $13,000 to win and $1,700 to start.
