Hendershot Captures Capitol Classic at Potomac Speedway

(Aug. 8, 2026) — With the nation celebrating its 250th anniversary, the Laurel Highland Sprint Series and Virginia Sprint Series visited the high-banked clay of Potomac Speedway in the Washington, D.C., suburbs Saturday night, where Donnie Hendershot captured the Capitol Classic for the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars. Heat race victories went to Matt Mullins and Hendershot as the fast, tacky racing surface produced multiple grooves throughout the evening. Ryan Lynn and Mullins brought the field to the green, with Lynn grabbing the early lead ahead of Matthew Leach, Hendershot, and Dylan Shatzer. An early caution briefly slowed the pace before Lynn resumed command while Hendershot settled into second and Shatzer and Daren Bolac battled behind them. Browne Breaks Through for First Modified Victory at Antioch

(Aug. 8, 2026) — Tyler Browne of Antioch captured his first career Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature victory Friday night at Antioch Speedway, adding his name to the list of 2026 DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region winners. Browne jumped into the lead at the start of the 20-lap main event with heat race winner Troy Foulger of Oakley and previous feature winner Andrew Pearce of Oakley in pursuit. Foulger applied constant pressure throughout the race, but Browne answered every challenge to maintain the top spot. An inside pass on the frontstretch on lap 15 moved Pearce into second. Foulger headed to the pits moments later, allowing Pearce one final opportunity to challenge. Browne remained composed over the closing laps to secure the milestone victory. Domagala Earns First Career RaceSaver Sprint Victory

(Aug. 8, 2026) — Logan Domagala led every lap of the caution-free RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature to earn the first victory of his Sprint Car career Saturday night at Arlington Raceway. Starting on the pole, the Brandon, S.D., driver quickly established himself out front while Andrew Allen slipped past Dalton Domagala for second on the opening lap. Allen chased the leader throughout the 15-lap distance but could never close enough to mount a challenge. Domagala scored the victory ahead of Allen, Dalton Domagala, Bill Johnson, and Mike Stien. Loverude Breaks Through for First 2026 Modified Win The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature featured multiple lead changes before Trent Loverude emerged on top. Smyre Capitalizes Late for Sixth Carolina Sprint Tour Victory

(Aug. 7, 2026) — The Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis returned to Carolina Speedway on Friday night for a beautiful summer evening of racing while honoring the memory of Street Stock competitor Dale McKenzie. Biscuit Williams paced Radical Race Gear Hot Laps with a lap of 14.663 seconds, the fastest recorded in hot laps at Carolina Speedway this season. Heat race victories went to Tanner Berryhill, who earned his first career Carolina Sprint Tour heat race win, and Jake McLain. Following the redraw, Williams and Greg Smyre led the field to green for the fourth round of the K-Town Pub & Pizza Mini Series. The initial start took several attempts after separate incidents eliminated Ben McCall, Coby Adams and Tim Nye, who was making his Carolina Sprint Tour debut for Andy Stegall Racing.
