164 IMCA Modified drivers now Fast Shafts All-Star qualifying eligible

BOONE, Iowa – Jordan Hicks, Dylan Smith, Collin Thirlby, Kelsie Foley, Craig Oakes and David Stremme are the most recent winners of IMCA Modified features paying $1,000 or more and are the latest additions to the list of 164 drivers now eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. If not already pre-registered for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, drivers must complete the early entry process by Friday, Sept. 3 to be eligible for time trial qualifying on Thursday, Sept. 9.  Drivers winning sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more held through the first weekend of September become eligible to qualify. Early entries for Super Nationals at record 800

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27) – Another week, another record number of entries for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Registration opened on July 7 and Northern SportMod driver Travis Burger of Manhattan, Kan., became the first pre-entry. Modified driver Brent Dutenhoffer of Watertown, S.D., became the record 800th pre-registered driver this afternoon.  This is the earliest day early entry numbers for Super Nationals have hit that mark. Super Nationals drivers can return support with hometown bar best appearing car theme

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors fueled by Casey’s have the opportunity to give a shout out to some of the hometown businesses that have supported them throughout their racing careers. Cars in any division competing at the 39th annual version America’s Racin’ Vacation® Sept. 6-11 at Boone Speedway with a local bar/bar and grill theme are eligible. That includes the STARS Mod Lites, which run their complete program during the Prelude. Bigger, better IMCA Super Nationals on track Sept. 6-11 at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – Even bigger. Even better.  More than 780 pre-entries are already in hand for the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s Sept. 6-11 and drivers and fans from across the country and Canada have, as always, much to look forward to during the week at Boone Speedway.  “We’ve already put a lot of thought into, and done a lot of work in making this year’s Super Nationals the best yet,” said IMCA President Brett Root, ticking off the list of physical improvements already completed at the speedway. “But at the end of the day what makes this event is the race track itself. It’s the track we give them, the ability crews have to adapt to it and just the quality of racing.” Another 100 reserved pit stalls, some including electricity and water, in the VIP area and new concrete stalls in the south parking area were quickly spoken for. Mulligan draw adds pre-race excitement to Prelude

BOONE, Iowa – A mulligan draw sponsored by IMCA.TV will add pre-race excitement and money to purses paid for Modifieds, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts at the Sept. 4 and 5 Prelude at Boone Speedway.  There is no entry fee for those divisions. If they wish, drivers can pay $20 before drawing their first pill; if they’re not happy with that number they can draw a second time and must keep that pill. All of the money generated by the Mulligan pill draw will be added to that division’s purse for the night. IMCA.TV then matches the proceeds generated in each division.  Complete shows for Modifieds and Stock Cars are on Saturday, complete shows for SportMods, Hobbies and Sport Compacts on Sunday.  The mulligan draw option won’t be available to STARS Mod Lite drivers, who run a two-day Super Nationals qualifying format during the Prelude.

One night isn’t enough for Prelude at Boone

BOONE, Iowa – It’s become an event so big that one night isn’t enough.  Boone Speedway’s Prelude special leading into the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s splits into two days, Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 5.  Complete shows for Modifieds and Stock Cars, along with qualifying for the STARS Mod Lites are on the Saturday card. Champions featured in every RoC event

BOONE, Iowa – Champions in five divisions fill the starting grids for Race of Champion events at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The inaugural RoC for STARS Mod Lites is on the Sunday, Sept. 5 Prelude card and will start 10 cars running 10 laps. The Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions for Modifieds, Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars, BSB Manufacturing Race of Champions for Northern SportMods and Stephenville Starter Race of Champions for Hobby Stocks are all on the Saturday, Sept. 11 program. Each of the Saturday events start 12 cars for 12 laps.  Modifieds race for $1,000 to win with another $100 paid to the leader of each lap. Time trial qualifying to set starting field for 18th annual Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational

BOONE, Iowa – Two rounds of group time trial qualifying will determine 28 of the 30 Modifieds to start the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. On Thursday, Sept. 9, two drivers from each of the five Modified regions advance from round one with another 18 drivers earning at-large berths in round two. Groups will be separated by regions in round one and staggered into groups by round one qualifying times for round two.  The top driver in national points and the driver with the most 40-point feature wins competing at Super Nationals and not already qualified complete the field for the $1,000 to win All-Star Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10 Twenty-five dollars will be paid for each lap led courtesy of Elmquist Towing of Ames. BOONE, Iowa – A division that’s seen record car counts at recent IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s crowns its first All-Star Invitational winner in 2021. Eighty drivers are now eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational.
