Grabouski sweeps IMCA Modified, Stock Car features at Gage County Fair 

BEATRICE, Neb. (July 29) – A pair of blue ribbon runs put Jordan Grabouski in victory lane twice Sunday night, during the Gage County Fair special at Beatrice Speedway. Grabouski got the best of Kyle Vanover in a back-and-forth IMCA Sunoco Stock Car headliner, than checked out for the $1,000 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying IMCA Modified win. Grabouski drew the pole for the Stock Car main but it was Vanover who was fastest much of the distance. The two swapped the front spot several times before Grabouski got the lead for good in the late going. Vanover ended in second with Jed Williams third. The national point leader led every circuit in the 20-lap Modified feature, pulling ahead after each restart. Jordy Nelson and Jaxon Saathoff completed the top three. Beatrice preps for July 29 Gage County Fair special

BEATRICE, Neb. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a berth on the 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot at Beatrice Speedway’s Sunday, July 29 Gage County Fair special. Completing the card are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, all running for $500 to win, and Mach-1 Sport Compacts in a $250 to win feature. There is no entry fee for the draw/redraw show. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Nebraska State, but no local track points will be awarded. Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-11 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $30. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. More information is available by calling 402 239-9073.

Beatrice marks milestone with 25th annual Spring Nationals 

BEATRICE, Neb. ­– Beatrice Speedway marks a special event milestone when it hosts the 25th annual Spring Nationals on Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10. Another $10,000 has been added to the purse again in 2018. IMCA Modi­fieds race for $2,500 to win and berths on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot both nights. Each feature pays a minimum of $250 to start and all Modified drivers are guaran­teed $100 a night in tow money. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet North­ern SportMods race for $1,000 to win and $100 to start each night. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks vie for $500 to win with $75 paid to start each night. Saturday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $200 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional and Nebraska State points will be awarded both nights. Weekend entry fees are $130 for Modi­fieds, $70 for Stock Cars and Northern SportMods and $50 for Hobby Stocks.
