Pella Powers Through Mayhem to Claim Eagle Hobby Stock Victory

(May 2, 2026) — After a bout of liquid sunshine forced the cancellation of what was to be the season opener at Eagle Raceway last Saturday, this Saturday greeted teams and fans with a beautiful spring day—and the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks made sure the wait was worth it, delivering the wildest race of the night that remained unpredictable to the very end. The initial start attempt saw a five-car pile-up in turns three and four that eliminated several contenders before a lap could even be completed. After another caution on the restart, a lap was finally made official with Dan Markham leading, followed by Neil Pella, Trenton Dowty, and Jason Hansen. Ankrum Fends Off Malasek in Wild Hobby Stock Finish at Park Jefferson

(May 1, 2026) — It was a chilly one Friday, but the racing action was hot at Park Jefferson Speedway, where the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks put on a show in their 16-lap A main. Ninth-starting Zach Ankrum of Sioux City charged to his second win of the year at the track and in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region, but not without a fight. Birthday boy Cody Malasek, who turned 15, stormed back from the rear after an early incident and threw a last-lap slide job in a bid for the win, coming up just short. Wyatt Johnson charged from 14th to finish third, while Ben Schneiders and Steven Taylor rounded out the top five. Sioux City’s Tyler Thompson made it back-to-back wins in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts. Starting eighth, Thompson grabbed the lead on lap four and never looked back. Weepie Wheels to Breakthrough CJ Speedway Hobby Stock Victory

By Jerry Mackey COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa (May 1, 2026) — Dalton Weepie was in action for the second week in a row in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and when the checkered flag fell, the youngster made his first-ever trip to CJ Speedway victory lane. The Dunkerton native earned his first win of the year in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region with a hard-fought victory ahead of Daniel Wauters and Randy Lamar. Austin Stalder was fourth, and Ryan Havel finished fifth. Sigourney’s Nathan Wood once again proved he will be a man to be reckoned with at CJ Speedway in 2026.
