Huish Collects Third Bullring Nationals Crown at Rush County Speedway

By William Nusser LA CROSSE, Kan. (June 5, 2026) — A near-capacity crowd filled the grandstands Friday night at Rush County Speedway for the Myers Racing Engines Bullring Nationals, where Jeremy Huish captured his third career Bullring Nationals crown in United Rebel Sprint Series competition. The United Rebel Sprint Series headlined the evening with a 35-lap feature showcasing many of the region’s top RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car competitors. Huish started from the pole and battled Jordan Knight during the opening stages before executing a decisive slider in turns one and two with 17 laps remaining to take command. Once out front, the Tribune, Kansas driver maintained control through the remainder of the race to secure his first victory of the season and third career Bullring Nationals triumph. The victory was also the 21st of Huish’s URSS career, moving him into sole possession of eighth on the series’ all-time wins list. Zach Blurton finished second after starting fourth, while Taylor Velasquez advanced from eighth to claim third. Knight crossed the stripe fourth and Koby Walters completed the [Read More]

MODtana Madness Returns to Gallatin Speedway June 26-27

By Ben Deatherage BELGRADE, Mont. (June 11, 2026) — One of the premier Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified events in the Devilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region returns to Gallatin Speedway on June 26-27 as the fourth annual MODtana Madness brings two nights of racing and a $5,000 winner’s payday to the Montana facility. Drivers will battle through a unique two-day format highlighted by Saturday’s 55-lap championship feature, a distance chosen in honor of promoter Dave Weisz’s former car number. The winner will collect $5,000, with $3,000 awarded for second and $2,000 for third. Every top-10 finisher will earn at least $1,000, while all starters in the main event are guaranteed a minimum of $400. Friday’s opening night program will feature a double-heat format to determine the starting lineup for Saturday’s finale, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated Modified races of the season in the state. In addition to the lucrative purse, the MODtana Madness winner will earn eligibility for the 2026 Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational to be held during the Speedway Motors IMCA [Read More]

Manning Charges From Seventh for First Santa Maria Win of 2026

By Stephanie Odom SANTA MARIA, Calif. (June 6, 2026) — Tyler Bannister appeared poised to continue his dominance in Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified competition Saturday night at Santa Maria Speedway. The Bakersfield driver entered the evening a perfect two-for-two at the Central Coast facility in 2026 and added another heat race victory to his résumé. Brandon Jennings also earned a heat race win earlier in the evening. Jennings and Rob Sanders led the field to green for the 25-lap feature, with Jennings quickly establishing himself at the front while fending off intense pressure from Sanders during the opening circuits. Starting seventh, fellow Bakersfield racer Gavyn Manning methodically worked his way through the field and into contention. As Jennings continued to pace the field, Manning steadily closed the gap before taking over the lead with five laps remaining. Bannister also charged forward in the closing stages, but Manning proved untouchable over the final circuits, racing away to secure his first Santa Maria Speedway victory of the season. The win was Manning’s fourth of 2026 in the DeVilbiss [Read More]
