Henry Comes Out on Top in Hard-Fought Cottage Grove SportMod Feature

(May 2, 2026) — Jordan Henry prevailed in a hard-fought 25-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature at Cottage Grove Speedway, earning his first win of the season after a race filled with intense battles and constant position changes. Ricky Ashley, in the T.R. Points Trucking-provided No. 8511, won the race to the line on the opening lap ahead of Justin Morgan and quickly built a sizable advantage. Lapped traffic came into play by lap nine, allowing Morgan to close in while also holding off defending track champion Aaron Bloom. Bloom moved into second on lap 11 and challenged for the lead, but contact between the front runners allowed Morgan to take over the top spot the next time around. Debenedetti Navigates Traffic for SportMod Season-Opening Win at Southern Oregon

(May 2, 2026) — Fresh off a heat race victory earlier in the night, Vinny Debenedetti led the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods to green in the 2026 season-opening main event at Southern Oregon Speedway. The field completed just one lap before trouble erupted on lap two. Logan McKnight and Ryder Boswell tangled on the front stretch while battling for position, collecting Cory Biggs in turn one. McKnight suffered heavy damage, and all three drivers were done for the night. On the restart, more issues followed as John Wilson spun exiting turn two, collecting Blake Peery and Connor Franklin. Peery and Wilson became locked together and had to be separated by the safety crew, ending the night for both. Another caution came on lap six when Lyle Yaeger spun. Krall Earns First Career Win at Benton County Speedway

By Christine Rublack VINTON, Iowa (May 3, 2026) — Ethan Krall of Evansdale topped a stellar field of Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds at Benton County Speedway to earn his first career victory and his first win in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Rayce Mullen jumped out to the early lead as he and Krall distanced themselves from the rest of the field. Krall worked his way past Mullen into the top spot while Josh Fisher and Jed Freiburger battled for third. As the laps wound down, Krall continued to stretch his advantage. Patrick Flannagan worked his way into contention late, but it was Krall taking the win, followed by Mullen, Flannagan, Freiburger, and Jerry Dedrick.
