Speedway Motors brings new look to latest season of IMCA support
LINCOLN, Neb. – The company synonymous with speed continues its support for IMCA and its 9,000-plus drivers in 2019. Speedway Motors is in the second year of its latest five-year marketing agreement with IMCA. The Lincoln, Neb., high performance parts manufacturer, retailer and distributor is the sanctioning body’s longest tenured sponsor, tracing its association with IMCA to the 1950s. “We’re proud of our long relationship with IMCA and we’re grateful for the support they’ve given us all these years,” Speedway Motors President Clay Smith said. “Our goal at Speedway Motors is to keep racing safe, affordable and fun, and our strong partnership with IMCA allows us to support today’s racers and for generations of racers to come.” Speedway Motors unveiled its new logo in January, in conjunction with its What Moves You social media campaign. Highlighting the current pact, Speedway Motors renews its title sponsorship role of IMCA Weekly Racing for an 12th consecutive season and returns as title sponsor of Super Nationals, to be held Sept. 2-7 at Boone Speedway, for the 24th consecutive year.
