YUMA, Ariz. – Eight $1,250 to win main events take top billing when the inaugural IMCA Arizona Modified Tour ventures to Cocopah Speedway, Arizona Speedway, Canyon Speedway Park and San Tan Ford Central Arizona Speedway. Each IMCA Modified feature is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event and a minimum of $150 will be paid to make the 24-car fields. All eight programs will be broadcast by IMCA.TV and also featured on MAVTV. LOCKWOOD, Mo. – Kluhsman Racing Components has renewed an awards program rewarding drivers in all eight divisions for its 20th season as an IMCA sponsor. IMCA extends Late Model point season to April 1-Sept. 23

VINTON, Iowa – IMCA Late Model drivers running for national and state honors will have more on-track opportunities in 2017. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded at all Deery Brothers Summer Series events as the tour switches from a unique 50-point system to IMCA’s familiar 40-point system. That change begins with the Deery Series opener at 34 Raceway in West Burlington on Saturday, April 1. Schultz, Seidler score IMCA Modified wins at Cactus Clash YUMA, Ariz. (Feb. 3-4) – Brian Schultz had never won a feature the way he did before Friday night at Cocopah Speedway while Marlyn Seidler continued his Arizona success in Saturday’s IMCA Modified Cactus Clash headliner. Schultz motored his way to the front from 15th starting and passed Tim Ward coming to the checkers to win the opening night event at Yuma. Marshalltown spices up Friday races with IMCA Late Models

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – IMCA Late Models will return to weekly race programs in a “Late Model town.” The division joins Friday night shows at Marshalltown Speedway April 28 through Aug. 25. “There’s a ton of buzz going on around here about them. It seems like everybody you talk to says ‘Hey, I hear you’re bringing the Late Models back,” said Promoter Toby Kruse. “We already have a strong weekly IMCA program here but it’s always good to spice things up a bit when you can and this is definitely a Late Model town.” Sanctioned Late Models were on the card at Marshalltown from 1987-1990. PRO Shocks plans post-season awards for drivers in five IMCA divisions again in 2017

BOONVILLE, Ind. – A wealth of PRO Shock awards go to IMCA drivers in five divisions again this season. The national IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car champion receives a set of four PRO shocks while nearly product certificates worth nearly $5,000 go to eligible IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods. Each main event for the IMCA Modifieds over the course of the June 23-July 1 tour pays $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and is a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The seventh annual Shootout will feature drivers from across the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere in the United States and Canada. BOONVILLE, Ind. – Post-season awards for IMCA Modified and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car drivers are in the works again in 2017, courtesy of Dynatech. The Boonville, Ind., exhaust systems and related components manufacturer gives a $500 product certificate to the national Modified champion. The runner-up receives $350, with $250 for third and $100 for seventh. Tri-City Motor Speedway announces blood drive partnership

AUBURN, Mich. – Tri-City Motor Speedway is partnering with area businesses and non-profit groups that are hosting blood drives with the American Red Cross or Michigan Blood to help increase donor participation during the summer months. Tri-City is seeking local blood drives held during May, June or July throughout the surrounding communities including, but not limited to: Auburn, Bay City, Beaverton, Gladwin, Midland, Mt. Pleasant, Pinconning and Saginaw. Each participating blood drive will receive one adult grandstand race ticket valued at $14 to give out to all donors who attempt to give blood.
